In the small town of Steuben, WI is a magical residency program called ACRE. We developed the system here further, and took advantage of the sounds of birds, frogs, insects, lawnmowers, and many other incidental sounds that made their way into the recordings. On our final day, we held a three-hour session inside an old grain silo. If you listen closely you can hear some of these environmental sounds, as well as the roof of the silo vibrate from the feedback.
